We say the process is natural because that’s exactly what it is, natural. Our body’s naturally cleanse themselves everyday however we also pick up tons of toxins daily. The juice cleanse feeds your body the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that it desperately needs to promote detoxification. Juice Cleanses are also a great way to loose unwanted weight as they help your body reach its natural and healthy state of well-being.

You can also have your juice delivered anywhere in Toronto/GTA. Each delivery will provide 1-4 days worth of fresh product. We only drop 1-4 days at a time to ensure you receive the healthiest, freshest, and most nutrient-dense organic juices as possible. Our cleanses are unique and different from the rest because of our unmatched 1on1 health coaching. Cleansing may take your body on its personal rollercoaster which may leave you with unanswered questions throughout. However our “worry free” policy allows you to reach out to your personal coach 24/7 via email (Juice@revitasize.ca). Our coaches are not only their to answer questions, but to provide you with support. Getting off track and fighting the urge to eat throughout is just one of the many things our coaches will guide through to ensure you get the Revitasize cleanse.

Pre-cleanse

Pre-cleansing is just as important as cleansing here at Revitasize. We recommend 1-2 days depending on your individual experience and goals (Our Cleanse Experts can help). Starting immediately, as soon as you wake up and before you brush your teeth, drink 1/2 litre of room-temperature Lemon Ginger Water. This will awaken your liver and help flush any toxins that have accumulated overnight. It will also rev up your digestive system for the day ahead. For Lunch we offer a selection of healthy vegan raps, salads or smoothies that will begin the transformation that your body needs when beginning a total cleanse. For dinner our menu offers an array of salads that will begin to adjust your body to digesting raw foods. Water will be a key ingredient in your pre cleanse, we offer 3 waters that will provide our body with increased blood flow and start the beginning of the cleanse for you. Processed foods, refined food, caffeine, meat, dairy, gum, soda, alcohol, and sugars should all be crossed off your eating list. These simple steps will prepare your body and mind so you will fully benefit from your Revitasize Juice Cleanse.

During The Cleanse

We recommend when you wake up drink a cup of room temperature warm water or your Revitasize Tea (included in all cleanses). This process will wake up your digestive system and prepare your body for your first juice. 30 minutes afterwards you should begin consuming your first beverage. It is important to remember to take your time when drinking, each juice should take 10-15 minutes to consume. We say 10-15 minutes because if we chug our juices down quick, our body will not only not have enough time to break down everything, but we won’t feel it as much and may eventually find ourselves hungry throughout the day. Once you’ve started drinking it is crucial to stay on schedule and consume a beverage every 2 ½ – 3 hours. This will keep your body satisfied and focused throughout the day. Hydration is the key to success and a cup of water should be the minimum consumed between each juice. You should be aiming to consume between 3-4 litres of water per day. Feel free to substitute water for our RevitaTea (without sugar, milk, or cream). We provide you with 5 unique cold pressed juices an booster shot and our detox tea. Our program will be tailored to your personal goals discussed with your coach prior to your cleanse. We pride ourselves on your results. Post Cleanse

Post Cleanse is important, because we want to transition to solid foods, and maintain feeling great. After a cleanse you are often able to listen more accurately to what your body needs, versus what your mind is telling you, you want. Your taste sensations will be more heightened, fruits will taste amazingly sweet, and a tine bit of salt can taste really salty. Everyone is different. But, this means that you are naturally more inclined to eat in line with a whole food, healthy lifestyle. However you will, of course, still be exposed to temptations. Take those temptations into moderation.
For the next 3 or 4 days. Slowly reintroduce solid foods, so your digestive system has time to reprogram, and so it won’t over react. One of the safest ways to resume eating food is to begin with foods high in water content, or foods you have been juicing (apple, oranges, grapefruits, celery, cucumber etc.) For the first day at least, stick with UNCOOKED food, as your system will start adjusting to digesting again. Remember also to chew, chew, and then chew again. Break down solid food as much as possible. This will allow your digestive system to not be overworked on its first shift back from vacation. Make sure that you continue to drink lots of water, and herbal teas. To avoid overloading the metabolism and digestive tract after a juice cleanse, eat your food slowly and avoid overdoing the portion sizes. Here are some suggestions to avoid for the first few days after a post cleanse (or longer).

A Few Things To Avoid

  • Processed food: packaged food, preservatives, additives, artificial coloring and flavoring.
  • Sugary Drinks: Regular, diet, 0 Calorie drinks, from concentrate juices (fresh squeezed is best, or just juice something tasty)- High amounts of Caffeine
  • Alcohol (moderation is the key)
  • Dairy Products
  • Red Meat
  • White Rice/Pasta/Bread- Fried Food (Stick to baked, broiled) – Creamy Dressing (very calorie dense, always ask for it on the side)

Great Replacement Options:

  • Whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, seeds, nuts
  • Herbal Teas
  • Stevia/Raw Cane Sugar/Agave (instead of sugar)
  • Nut milk (Almond, Cashew, Hazelnut) or Coconut milk
  • Fish, Chicken, or Vegetable Proteins
  • Whole grains such as quinoa, barley, brown rice, buckwheat, millet, olive oil and lemon
